a friendly reminder:
don’t hang out with people that make you feel bad about yourself

Week 2 of the couch to 5k done :) found the first twenty minutes relatively easily but the last ten a bit of a struggle. Really didn’t want to do it but I’m so glad that I forced myself to. Looking forward to week 3, looks like it definitely steps up!
somehow got a first in my degree?!
so nervous about my degree results. no sleep for me tonight :(.
Just finished my second week 2 couch to 5k run. I found it a lot harder than yesterdays but I reckon that’s because I’m a) very stressed about degree results and b) I should have taken a rest day today. I’m really glad that I made myself do it, it makes me feel a lot less stressed and anxious about my results. I literally feel sick about them. I saw on my twitter feed that someone I know of in final year at UOB got told that they had failed their Maths degree, I cannot think of anything more terrifying…!
Introverts, in contrast, may have strong social skills and enjoy parties and business meetings, but after a while wish they were home in their pajamas. They prefer to devote their social energies to close friends, colleagues, and family. They listen more than they talk, think before they speak, and often feel as if they express themselves better in writing than in conversation. They tend to dislike conflict. Many have a horror of small talk, but enjoy deep discussions.
Had a nice relaxing day today. Slept until midday, had some muesli for breakfast, started my second week of couch to 5K runs which I didn’t find too difficult (5 minute brisk walk then 90 secs running 2 mins walking for 20 mins then another 5 minute brisk walk), although saying that my calves are now in major pain. It seems a bit easy so far but I’m looking forward to building my stamina up to week 9. I’ve been making some money (£2.50…) on slicethepie.com for the last hour, not very much but considering that I have literally nothing to do it’s not too bad! I have another day of relaxing tomorrow, will try another couch to 5k week 2 run and maybe see my friend Ollie. Then on Thursday I’m heading back to Birmingham to pack up my house and get my degree results on Friday (absolutely terrifying!). Wish me luck…!
